Allen Elwood Garber, 82, of Glen Burnie, passed away on Saturday, January 18, 2020. Al was born on November 23, 1937, in Libertytown, Maryland, to the late Hilda and Allen Garber. He was an engineer for Westinghouse / Northrop Grumman for 42 years and his favorite holiday was Groundhog Day. Al enjoyed NASCAR and cheering on the Orioles & Ravens.
Al is survived by his devoted wife of 63 years, Frances N. Garber; his loving daughters, Cindy (Mike) Spurlin and Melody (Mark) Waybright; his cherished grandchildren, Courtney, Jason, Heather, Mark Jr., Matthew, Scotty, and Zachary and their spouses; and his seven beloved great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, Al was predeceased by his son, Scott Garber and his wife Trish, and his dear sisters, Maxine Scardina and Marie Kreiner.
