Allan James Corriere 1934~2014 Allan James Corriere, 79, of Oglesby, passed away July 2, 2014 at his home.
Funeral services will be held 12 noon on Saturday, July 5, at Ashburn Lutheran Church, Chicago with Rev. Elaina Salmon, pastor officiating. Burial to follow at Chapel Hill Gardens South, Alsip. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to time of service on Saturday at the church. Local arrangements have been entrusted to the Prey-Mueller Funeral Home, Oglesby.
Mr. Corriere was born July 30, 1934 in Chicago to James and Adail (Tollner) Corriere. He graduated from Romulus High School in Michigan and attended Illinois State University for 2 years. He married Eleanor M. Gadzinskas on August 22, 1959 at St. Peter and Paul Lutheran Church, Chicago. Mr. Corriere worked in sales service in the corrugated industry for 50 years; he was a veteran of the United States Army and member of Zion Lutheran Church, Ottawa.
He is survived by his wife Eleanor; a son Geoffrey (Lisa) Corriere of Palos Hills, IL; daughter Micah (Jon) Dallman of Waukee, IA; 4 grandchildren; 2 brothers, Ralph Corriere of Phoenix, AZ and Larry Corriere of Branson, MO; 3 sisters Beverly Malvestuto of Clovis, CA, Candyce Priano of Chico, CA and Vickie Wolff of Chicago Heights and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, and a sister Marge Moscickis.
