Allan “Chris” George Manus, age 85, of Kalamazoo, passed away suddenly on Monday, June 14, 2022. Allan was born in Cleveland, OH, on May 12, 1937, the son of George and Mary (Chokas) Manus.
He worked as a Research Veterinarian for fifty-five years, and retired from MPI Research in Mattawan. He belonged to the American Veterinary Medical Association and the American College of Laboratory Animal Medicine. He spent much of his freetime fishing, which he greatly enjoyed.
On August 6, 1983, he was united in marriage with Helen B. (Barno) Manus. Helen survives him along with two children, Anne-Marie Adams and A. David (Margaret) Adams; one grandchild, Isabel Adams; one sister, Patricia Jacobs; two nephews and two nieces.
