Allan Foth, age 85 of Livermore, passed away Tuesday, November 13, 2018 at the Kossuth Regional Health Center in Algona. Allan George Foth, the son of George and Molly (Elsbecker) Foth, was born on November 15, 1932 in Bancroft, Iowa. Al attended school in St. Joe. In 1953, Al drafted in the United States Army and served in the Korean War until 1955. On August 14, 1953, Al was united in marriage to Joyce Marion Haack in Junction City, Kansas. Al’s pride and joy were his family and his farm. His hobbies included working, working more, and putting everyone around him to work. If you work on a farm, there is always work to be done. He also enjoyed attending the dirt track races, tractor pulls and the farm progress shows. Al was a member of the Cattleman’s, served on the elevator board and volunteered as a 4-H leader. Al is survived by his wife of 65 years, Joyce of Livermore; his children, Brad (Diane) Foth of Livermore, Bruce (Denise) Foth of Livermore, Brent (Jackie) Foth of Livermore and Sandy (Greg) Hall of Brooklyn; nine grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren and a sister, Betty Thul of Humboldt. He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Molly Foth; brothers, Dick and Gordon Foth and sisters, Marge Meighan and May Crahan.
