Alicia Maisonet, 71, of Bethlehem, passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 16, 2021 at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Muhlenberg surrounded by her loving family. Born in Manati, Puerto Rico, she was the daughter of the late Eloino Gonzalez and Virginia Maisonet. Alicia enjoyed puzzles, making jewelry and her trips to the casino. Above all, she loved spending time with her family and friends.
Survivors: She will be lovingly remembered by her daughter Brunilda McClendon of Rantoul, IL; son Johnnie Acevedo of Whitehall; sister Nerida Maisonet of Chicago, IL; brother Peter Maisonet of Bethlehem; half siblings Angel, Francisco, Luis, Julio and Angelina; grandchildren Arlene, Steven, Johnnie Jr., Malcome, John, Jillian, Maegan and Johnnie, Jr.; 8 loving great grandchildren as well as many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her son Daniel Acevedo and her loving granddaughter Sharlene Jenkins.
