Alice (Korbut) Rooney of Burlington City passed away at home on Sunday, January 18, 2015 surrounded by her family at the age of 92. Born in Philadelphia, PA, Alice was a longtime resident of Burlington City where she and her husband John J. Rooney (deceased in 1981) raised 4 daughters. As a homemaker, she was a loving and devoted mother who enjoyed spending time with family. She was a lifetime member of All Saints RC Church. Alice was preceded in death by her parents, John Korbut and Catherine Kedziora and her husband John J Rooney.
She is survived by her daughters, Patricia Ballard (Richard), Paula Rooney (Robert Strzalka), Nancy Reid (Thomas) and Judy Farmer (Alan), 7 grandchildren, Timothy (Jackie), Allison (Tony), Patrick (Vanessa), Jonathan, Sean, Megan (Sean McIntyre) and Emily, 6 great grandchildren, Kendal, Jackson, AJ, Brenna, Bruce and Evan, and her sister Anna Centifonti, and many nieces, nephews, friends and wonderful neighbors.
