Alice Miller Norris, 87, of Virginia, died Monday, September 5, 2011 at Walker Nursing Home in Virginia.
She was born May 23, 1924 in Barrow County, Wisconsin, the daughter of John O. and Jane Duncan Miller. She married Wilbert “Babe” Norris on December 1, 1944 in Virginia and he preceded her in death on February 2, 1992.
She is survived by four sons, Lynn Norris of Virginia, Keith (Carolyn) Norris of Tallula, Neal (Sarah) Norris of Oakford, and Clay (Terri) Norris of Eugene, OR; nine grandchildren and nine great – grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son in infancy, one brother, and four sisters.
Mrs. Norris was a graduate of Virginia High School and a member of Panther Creek New Beginnings Church. She was a volunteer at Walker Nursing Home and she enjoyed reading.
