Alice M. Young, 88, of Terre Haute, passed away January 1, 2016 in Springhill Village surrounded by her family. Alice was born on April 11, 1927 in Helena, Montana to Earl Abbey and Bertha Moe Abey. Alice was retired from Terre Haute Regional Hospital as a baker. Alice was a member of United Methodist Temple in Terre Haute, she enjoyed reading, playing cards, bingo, cooking and especially baking. Alice was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Young who died in January of 1999 and a grandson Chris Miller in 2014. She is survived by three daughters; Marsha McCloud, Brenda Miller and April Christle and her husband Marc all of Terre Haute. She is also survived by a brother, Robert Abbey and his wife Lori of Buckley, WA., three sisters; Judy Hazelbaker and her husband Frank of Missoula, MT., Lois Hege and her husband Don also of Missoula, MT., and Ruby Galland of Whittier, CA. She is survived by five grandchildren; Richard McCloud and his wife Brandy, Brian Miller, Melissa Coad, Brandi Cottrell and her husband Troy, Joshua Thompson and his long time companion Becky. Great Grandchildren; Zachary McCloud, Jayson Cottrell, Alexa McCloud, Jarrett Cottrell, Carson Thompson, Javyn Cottrell and Jayda Cottrell as well as several Nieces and Nephews.
