Alice Marie Wooster, age 90, died Wednesday, September 2, 2015, following a brief illness. Born February, 24, 1925, in Seoul, Korea, she was the daughter of Bliss and Helen Billings.
After graduating college in California, Alice married Hawley Arthur “Art” Wooster on May 16, 1956 at Fort Baker in Sausalito, California. Alice and Art adopted their only son, Bob, while stationed in Furth, Germany in 1957.
Alice was an active member of the VFW wives club in Crawford, Colorado during her and Art’s retirement years.
Alice enjoyed reading, poetry, photography, playing cribbage, the symphony, attending theatre, traveling, camping, and hiking. She was a friendly, outgoing individual who valued the Lord, her family, friends, and those in need.
Alice is survived by her only son, Bob Wooster, and her daughter-in-law, Laney Wooster, as well as many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great, great nieces and nephews.
