Alice Marie Pitchford, 77, of Central City, passed away Tuesday, October 22, 2019 at her home.
She was born December 13, 1941 in Centralia, daughter of Tommy Lang and Goldie (Moulder) Rollinson. She married Larry Pitchford, Sr. on October 14, 1960 in Salem and he preceded her in death on May 18, 2004.
Alice is survived by a son: Larry Gene Pitchford, Jr. and wife Marla of Washington; a daughter: Kiana Pitchford of Centralia; four grandchildren: Chasity Friederick and husband Zack of Germantown, Larry Gene Pitchford, III of Morton Grove, IL, Travis A. Pitchford of Centralia and Shauna Rhynes and husband Allen of Sandoval; 12 great-grandchildren; a brother: Lonnie Lang and wife Abby of Salem; a brother-in-law: Eugene Huffman of Indiana; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and two sisters: Linda Lang and Shirley Huffman.
Alice was born and raised in Centralia, she worked at Dobbs Bargain City for 25 plus years until it closed. She loved her animals. Alice was a very devoted mother and grandmother.
