Alice Marie Jones, 88, of Rising Sun, IN, passed away at 5:01 AM, Sunday, June 26th, at Dearborn County Hospital, Lawrenceburg, IN. Alice was born in Cleves, OH on January 7, 1923, a daughter of the late Helen Edna (Smith) and Joseph Noes. She worked as a nurse at Rising Sun Care Center, Shady Nook Nursing Home and Woodland Hills Nursing Home. She also worked at Seagrams Distillery. In 1948 she married Elijah “Joe” Jones, who passed away in 1984.
