Alice M. Schultz, age 91, of Rensselaer passed away Sunday, August 15, 2010 at the Rensselaer Care Center.
Alice was born in Hoopeston, Illinois on November 8, 1918, the daughter of the late Walter and Irene Elizabeth (McVicker) Lattimore. In 1922 Alice moved with her family to Jasper County where she attended school in Fair Oaks. She was a member of the St. John Lutheran Church.
Alice was a homemaker who loved vegetable and flower gardening and enjoyed raising chickens and selling eggs. On November 8, 1935, in Lowell, Indiana Alice married Erich Oscar Schultz who passed away November 7, 2002.
Surviving are two sons, Charles (wife: Donna) Schultz and Elmer (wife: Elizabeth) Schultz, both of Rensselaer; five grandchildren, Suzanne (husband: Gary) Gilmore, David (wife: Virginia) Schultz, Derich (wife: Melissa) Schultz, Dwayne (wife: Angela) Schultz and Darren (wife: Cheryl) Schultz; 11 great-grandchildren; 2 step great-grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren and one sister, Gladys Williams, Terra Haute, IN. She was preceded in death by four brothers and one sister.
