Alice M. (Ludden) McGuire of Plymouth died peacefully on Monday morning April 4th .She was the beloved wife of the late Joseph J. McGuire. Born in Lynn, Massachusetts on July 22, 1924, daughter of the late Bernard and Bertha (Langan) Ludden. Educated in Lynn and a graduate of St. Mary’s High School in Lynn. Alice was the loving mother of Brian and his wife Elizabeth McGuire of Milton, Kathleen Perri and her husband John of Franklin, Eileen Gallerani and her husband David of Plymouth and Maureen Marty and her husband James of Colorado. Cherished grandmother of Alicia Mason, Dominic Perri, Jonathan Perri, Daniel Perri, Kevin Gallerani, Sarah Rhodes, Courtney McGuire, Kyle McGuire, Matthew Marty and Jack Marty. Great grandmother of Evan, Tessa, Alexander, Violet and John.Alice was a longtime Bookkeeper for the Silver-Lake Regional School system before retiring. She was an active parishioner of St. Peter’s Church in Plymouth were she was a Eucharistic Minister and member of the Women’s League. She was a longtime volunteer at the Plymouth public library. She remained active right into her ninety’s going to the gym and working with her personal trainer. In her spare time she would enjoy baking, knitting, gardening, needlepointing, but her biggest joy was being with her family.
