Alice L. Hospers, 90, formerly of Round Hill Road and Waldman Drive, died Friday, May 29, 2009 in El Paso, Texas where she moved five years ago to be near her daughter.
Alice was predeceased by her husband, John W. Hospers, on November 29, 1995 and a son, J. Keith Hospers.
Alice was a member of the First United Methodist Church. She was also a member the Clio Club and Womens Club.
Alice attended Dickenson Junior College and the Wyoming Seminary and had worked for the former Lowrey Electric.
Born May 1, 1919 in Roaring Branch, she was the daughter of Clayton A. and Margaret C. Ritter Schmelzle.
Surviving are a daughter, Betsy A. Quackenbush of El Paso, TX; five grandchildren and one great granddaughter.
