Our beloved Mother, Alice Lorraine Horn, 84, of South Bend, IN, passed away in her home on Sunday, December 11, 2005, and is now celebrating her first Heavenly Christmas with her husband, Fred Sr. and a daughter, Cheryl D. Horn. Alice was born on September 28, 1921, in South Bend, IN, to Samuel A. and Madelon (Moore) Bourdon, and was a lifelong resident. She retired in 1982 from Little Dutch Cleaners. On May 12, 1939, in Waterloo, IN, as Alice L. Bourdon, she married Fred D. Horn, who preceded her in death on March 3, 2004. Also preceding her in death were a daughter, Cheryl D. Horn on July 23, 2004; one granddaughter, Pamela Jayne Paulsen, one great-granddaughter, Micheala Blankenbaker; three brothers, Richard, Ralph, and Jack Bourdon; and by one niece, Robin K. Bourdon in 1983. Survivors include two daughters, Joylene A. (Tom) Barnes of Cave Creek, AZ and Kathie Jo (David) Graham of South Bend, IN; one son, Fred D. (Marq) Horn, Jr. of Mountain Home, ID; eight grandchildren; twenty-six great-grandchildren; one great great-grandson; two sisters, Betty Boggs and Joan (Bill) Kidder of South Bend, IN; and by two sister-in-laws, Ime Bourdon and Midge Bourdon of South Bend, IN.
