Alice Kettler, 83, of Three Oaks, Michigan died January 4, 2008. Mrs. Kettler was born July 21, 1924 in Three Oaks to Sylvester and Myrtle (Schmely) Payne. She cared for her home and family and was employed for a time as a riveter at Pullman Standard in Michigan City, Indiana.
She enjoyed embroidering and listening to Country Gospel Music. Survivors include her daughter, Virginia (Ronny) Scoggin of Three Oaks; sons, Roger of Three Oaks; Robert of Michigan City; Ken (Louise) of Three Oaks and Don of Galien; 16 grandchildren; many great grand children; her sister, Mary Weigel of New Carlisle, Indiana; brother William Payne of Three Oaks; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Nelson in 1965, and by her son, Harold in 1991.
