Alice Jensen, 92 of Gilmore City died September 29, 2019 at the Marian Home in Fort Dodge, IA. Alice Jensen, the daughter of Daniel and Mary (Fox) Bradley was born November 12, 1926 in Pioneer, IA. She was raised , educated and graduated from the Pioneer High School in 1945. She was united in marriage with Leonard Jensen on January 20, 1948 at the Danish Lutheran Church in Humboldt, IA. The couple made their home on a farm west of Gilmore City where Alice was a housewife and a dedicated farm hand. Her husband Leonard passed away in 1991 and Alice moved to Gilmore City in 1992. Survivors include her children Wanda Jensen of Fort Dodge, IA and Mike Jensen of Gilmore City, IA along with many nieces and nephews. Alice was a member of First Lutheran Church, Senior Citizens and the American Legion Auxiliary of Gilmore City. She served as a member of the Gilmore City Counsel and enjoyed square dancing and playing cards. Preceding Alice in death were her husband Leonard in 1991, parents, Daniel and Mary, daughter Beverly Jensen of Iowa City, IA, sisters Veronica (Ben) Anderson, Cecelia (Iver) Behrendsen and Kathleen (Lyle) Jennings.
