Alice Jane Bella, 79, of South Bend, IN, passed away at 8:15am Sunday, March 19, 2006.
She was born to the late Russell and Josephine (Lupa) Squint in South Bend, IN, and was a lifelong resident.
On October 1, 1949, as Alice Jane Squint, she married Robert J. Bella at St. Stephen Catholic Church in South Bend, IN.
She was survived by her loving husband Robert, of 57 years, until his recent passing on March 21, 2006.
She is survived by four daughters, Elizabeth (Jim) Frame of Mishawaka, IN; Susan (Joseph) Trimboli of Mishawaka, IN; Margaret (Joe) Pinter of South Bend, IN; Janet Bella of South Bend, IN; one son, Robert M. Bella of South Bend, IN; four grandchildren, Nicole Pinter, Joseph Pinter, J.P. Frame, Adam Frame; and one sister, Marilyn DeFerbrache (Ron) of South Bend, IN.
Mrs. Bella was a former member of St. Stephen Catholic Parish; and was actively involved in volunteer work at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center in South Bend. She loved to travel, enjoyed watching ice skating on T.V., and was a collector of dolls. Most of all, Alice Jane was a loving and caring Wife, Mother, and Grandmother who loved to spend time with her family, talking on the phone, and visiting her friends.
