Mrs. Alice Fincher Dearmon of Destin, FL, passed peacefully from life to life at Sacred Heart Hospital in Miramar Beach, FL on November 23, 2022, at the age of 95.
Alice was the youngest child of Edwin Fincher and Maude Francis Fincher of Waynesville, NC. She was born on July 13, 1927.
Alice is survived by her children, James DuMont Dearmon
(Shelah) of Millry, AL, and Camille Dearmon Morrison of Laurel, MS; her grandchildren, John Edward Dearmon (Lindsey Erin) of Birmingham, AL, Lily Trest (Adam) of Laurel, MS, Jacob Dearmon of Houston Texas, and Isabella Morrison of Laurel, MS; her great-grandchildren, Fincher, Poppy, and Marigold Trest of Laurel, MS; and multiple nieces.
She is preceded in death by her daughter, Delys Dearmon of Destin, FL; her grandson, Wyatt Dearmon of Millry, AL; her sisters, Evelyn Kent of Knoxville, TN, and Francis Maheffy of Daytona Beach, FL; and her brother Earl Fincher of Waynesville, NC.
Alice was a prominent resident of Destin, FL for over 50 years.
