Alice D. Davitt
(McCrea), 91, passed away peacefully on Saturday January 9, 2010 surrounded by her loving family.
Mrs. Davitt was born in Scranton, PA and lived in Kearny for many years. She moved to Parsippany and lived there for 23 years before returning to Kearny 3 years ago.
She was employed as a store clerk for the Mandee Shop in Kearny for 15 years. She retired 30 years ago.
She is survived by her five children, Margaret Lawless (Gerald), Michael (Caren), Dennis (Sharon), Billy ((Diane), and Gary (Diana). She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband William in 1978.
