Parker City- Alice C. (Farmer) Keatts, 90, passed away early Sunday morning, November 3, 2013, at the Parker City Health and Rehabilitation Center following an extended illness. She was born on July 28, 1923, in Philippi, West Virginia, the daughter of Johnson W. and Bessie O. (McVicker) Digman. Alice married Vent Wilson Farmer in 1943 and he preceded her in death in 1985 and then she married Richard E. Keatts in 1995 and he preceded her in death in 2001. Alice had worked for Durham Manufacturing, Muncie Gear, and Marsh later, for Quality Home Health Care as a live in Health Care Provider, which she had done for approximately 3-4years.
Survivors include, two sons, John Farmer (wife-Janice), Union City, and Rusty Farmer, Muncie; one daughter, Brenda Kennedy (husband-Jack), Okaloosa Island, Florida; one daughter-in-law, Eva Farmer, Modoc; four step daughters; several grandchildren; several great grandchildren; one great great grandson; one daughter-in-law, Eva Farmer, Modoc.
Besides her two husbands, she is preceded in death by a son, James Farmer in 2007; four brothers: one sister.
