Alice Burns 97 of Bourne passed away peacefully on Sunday. Alice was retired from John Hancock of Boston and moved to Plymouth 40 years ago then to Bourne for the past 20 years to be closer to her family. Alice was a loyal and dedicated Red Sox fan and was often seen hollering words of encouragement (as if she were a coach) at the players on tv when they werent playing their best. She was an avid reader of romance novels and loved being around family and friends. Alice looked forward to spending a few hours in the sun sitting by the canal at the train bridge. She also had a green thumb and loved gardening. Alice, Mom, Nana, Nina, and Aunt will be missed dearly. Preceded by her husband Leo Burns.
