Alice Barbara Lyon, age 94 of Fairfield, beloved wife of 60 years of Francis Lyon went home to be with her Lord Sunday, August 17, 2014 in her home. Born in Seleucia, Syria, the daughter of the late Henry and Mary Midney, she had been a Fairfield resident for the last 57 years. She attended Booth and Baylis Business School and was employed as a secretary for many years at General Electric and also worked for other local businesses. Alice was a disciplined and accomplished figure skater and loved to watch Olympic events with her family too. When her children were grown, she took numerous trips all over the world with her husband including Egypt, Eastern Europe before the fall of the Berlin wall, and Hawaii.
