Alice B. Allen
Newark – Alice (Berggren) Allen, 92 entered eternity on Wednesday, April 17, 2013 at Rochester General Hospital.
Mrs. Allen was born the daughter of the late Vern and Ella (Krantz) Berggren on Monday, November 22, 1920 in Bradford, PA. She graduated from the University of Buffalo. For many years she worked as a nurse for the New York State Department of Health retiring at the age of 70.
Mrs. Allen will be lovingly remembered by her daughters Virginia (Steven) Portner of VA and Victoria Allen of Newark; sister Hilda Donnell of Rochester; many friends.
Mrs. Allen was predeceased by her husband Walter Allen in 2003 and a son Lee Allen in 2006.
