Alice Ann Steinway Agnew
Beloved Mother, Grandmother and Sister
Alice Agnew passed away on June 16, 2007 at her home in Alamogordo, New Mexico. She was born Alice Ann Steinway on December 1, 1928 in Cincinnati, Ohio. She graduated in 1947 from Greenhills High School and attended both the University of Cincinnati and the Michael Reese School of Nursing in Chicago, graduating in 1951.
While practicing as an R.N. in Chicago, she met and married Colvin Hunt Agnew, of Alamogordo, New Mexico, in 1952, who was in his medical residency at Michael Reese Hospital. Following the birth of their first son, the family moved to Sheridan, Wyoming where Dr. Agnew started the radiology department at the hospital, and a daughter was born. The family moved on to Galveston, Texas, then Kansas City, Kansas, having two more sons, while Dr. Agnew taught in medical schools.
The family moved to Billings, Montana, in 1962, where Dr.
