Ali Elizabeth Jones passed away suddenly on Tuesday March 3, 2015 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania at the age of 19. She was born a happy, beautiful girl on February 17, 1996 in Boise, Idaho to Ron S Jones and Krissy E Benzing. Ali was a second child, 23 months younger than her older Brother, Jaren Kaleb Jones. Ali also later became a big sister to KatyJane Tallulah Newblatt, whom she cherished as a little sister.
Ali spent the first four years of her life in Boise, ID. She loved to play with her brother and was an active baby and toddler. She was a happy, sweet girl that loved to be around her family. From the moment Ali was born, she was adored by her older brother who found an instant companion and together they held a strong bond. They were inseparable.
At the age of four, Ali moved with her brother, mom and stepdad, to Austin, Texas. She spent the next four years in Texas, where she attended grade school in Round Rock and created a number of deep friendships. Ali really cherished her time in the state of Texas. In 2004, Ali’s younger sister Katyjane Tallulah Newblatt was born. Ali was so excited to have a little sister and loved her deeply.
Over the next several years, Ali spent time living in a number of different cities. She lived in Tampa, Florida, Raleigh; North Carolina; and Clarkston, Michigan. She also spent additional time in the familiar cities of Boise and Round Rock as well. Over those years Ali spent many holidays and summers in Boise, ID with her dad, stepmom, brother, and step brothers as well as her extended family in Boise. Ali’s adolescent years were a time where she pushed boundaries and tried a lot of different things. She always seemed to find a way to try something new or have a unique experience in life. She lived life to the fullest.
In 2013, Ali met Michael Cumberledge in Round Rock, Texas, with whom she fell in love and later began a new chapter in life in New Castle, Pennsylvania. One of Ali’s most joyful moments occurred on January 27, 2014 when she had her first precious little girl, Alaney Kay. That moment was equaled later that year when she gave birth to her second daughter, Arial Kay, on December 28, 2014. Ali loved her daughters more than anything and they were her new found pride, joy, and purpose in life.
Ali’s passions when she was younger were swimming, camping, and outdoor activities in general. As an adult, she found great joy in shopping, especially for her little girls. She had a passion for being brave and trying new things. She often was the first in the group to try something, especially if it was something that others were hesitant to do. Ali was a free spirited, loving and caring girl, growing into a woman with those traits and who loved her family and friends deeply. Even though Ali lived apart from her family at times, she always wanted to be close to them in spirit. She was especially looking forward to having her little sister more involved in her life and having her little girls build relationships with her sister and her brother.
Ali had a lot of compassion for others and looked for good in people. She made many friends at each place she lived through the years, and kept in touch with many of them. We know she will always be with us in spirit, watching down on us. She will be deeply missed.
