Alfredo (Al) Flores III, 74, of Boerne passed away peacefully on Oct 17, 2018. He was a loving husband and father of four children.

Alfredo (Al, Papa, Fred) Flores III was born on June 1, 1944 in San Diego, Texas to Alfredo Flores, Jr. and Inocencia Aleman Flores. He graduated from San Diego High School and later served In the Army. On December 27, 1970 he married Linda McWatters. Al was employed by Exxon Co. USA for 30 years and excelled at his job as Drilling Superintendent, working all over Texas, in the Gulf of Mexico, and in Alaska during his years with them.

After retirement Al would spend his time going to Nascar, watching his favorite Westerns, and enjoying time spent with his grandchildren. He also had a love for cooking, carpentry, electrical work, and feeding his deer. Al was a loving Husband, Father and Grandfather, and he will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

Al is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Linda; his four children, Cathie (Sean) Trimble, Dr. Michael Thomas (Taressa) Flores, Charles (Meagan) Flores, and Robert (Vanessa) Flores. He is also survived by his brother, Daniel (Rose) Flores and his sister, Lamar (Gilberto) Uribe. He is also survived by loving grandchildren, Wesley Trimble, Cameron (Brittney) Trimble (USN), Easton (Criscel) Trimble (USN), Maya Flores, Anisa Flores, Devin Flores, Corbin Flores, Braxton Flores, Greyson Flores, and Caleb Flores, and his companion Lexi. Al was very proud of all his children and their accomplishments, and was also extremely proud of his grandchildren.

Al was preceded in death by his parents, Alfredo and Inocencia, and his sisters, Zulema Flores, Minerva Trevino, and Gracie Flores.
