Alfred Wilson, 73, of Spencer, Indiana, passed away Sunday, January 26th at the IU Hospice House in Bloomington, Indiana.
Alfred was born on December 6th, 1946 in Monroe County, Indiana, the son of Charles Ross and Dorothy (Floyd) Wilson. He married Alice A. (Flynn) Wilson on February 16th, 1963; she survives.
Alfred lived in Spencer, Indiana most of his life. He owned and operated his own business, Wilson Seamless Guttering, for more than 40 years, working on homes and businesses, primarily in Owen and Monroe counties.
His favorite pastimes included fishing, camping, western movies, and NASCAR. However, his favorite pastime of all was spending time with his grandkids.
Alfred is survived by his wife of 57 years, his four children: Brad Wilson of Spencer, IN, Jame (Wilson) Davis, and her husband Scott Davis, of Columbus, IN, Jody Wilson of Ellettsville, IN, and Stacey Fulford, and her husband Tim Fulford, of Solsberry, IN. He is also survived by his six grandchildren: Corey Davis, Shelby Davis, Lindsey Wilson, Mackenzi Fulford, Samantha Fulford, and Ethan Wilson. Alfred is also survived by a brother, Phillip Wilson of Martinsville, IN.
He was preceded in death by his children, David L. Wilson and Carrie Ann Wilson, his parents; brothers, Ben Wilson, Charles Wilson, Larry Wilson, and Alvin Wilson(twin).
