Alfred William “Bill” Hudson, 78, of Salisbury went to be with the Lord, early Saturday morning July 28, 2012 at Rowan Regional Medical Center.
He was born Saturday October 28, 1933 in McCall, SC, a son of the late Bertha Norwood Hudson and John C. Hudson.
He attended the Gaston County schools. He was employed for 28 years with Parkdale Mill and was a member of Morning Star Baptist Church in Cleveland.
Bill loved his wife and family very much. He was a very kind hearted person who enjoyed everybody. He liked to spend time in the mountains.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife Rebecca Louise Parsley Hudson, whom he married March 13, 1983 of Salisbury; daughters Terrie Smith (Robert) of Kannapolis, Billie Pearson (Dale) of Ranlo and Vickie Lyles (Jackie) of Gastonia; step daughters Debbra Pate (Robert) of Rockwell, Sylvia Lovelace (Syd) of Salisbury, Paula Butero (Johnny) of Mocksville and Sherry Pruett of Myrtle Beach; one step-son Wayne Brown of Salisbury; 13 Grandchildren; 9 Great-great Grandchildren and one on the way; 7 Step Grandchildren.
