Alfred F. Scorzella, Jr. of Winthrop and Springhill, Florida passed away at the Chelsea Soldier’s Home on August 1, 2021. He was 77 years old. Born in Winthrop he was the beloved son of the late Mary Rose (Gonzalez) and Alfred F. Scorzella, Sr. A graduate of Winthrop High School he went on to work with his father at Winthrop Engineering. He then joined the United States Navy serving during the Vietnam War. He served 2 tours before being honorably discharged in 1967. After his discharge he worked for New England Traffic Signal then went on to work as a pipefitter at Bethlehem Steel.

He was the loving father of Marc Scorzella and his wife Michelle of Winthrop. He was the dear brother of Rosemary Butler and her late husband Ted of Peabody and Richard Scorzella and his wife Nancy of Waltham. Cherished grandfather of Alessandra, Victoria, Grace and Olivia. Also survived by several loving nieces and nephews.
