Alfred Peter Colatarci, 91 of Toms River, formerly of Ledgewood, passed away peacefully at Complete Care@Bey Lea, Toms River on Thursday, April 2, 2020. Alfred was born October 19, 1928 in Paterson, New Jersey.
He was inducted into the United States Army of January 31, 1951 and served in Germany as a Private First Class. He was then transferred to the Army Reserve on January 15, 1953. Alfred was honorably discharged on December 14, 1956. Alfred owned and operated the Town& Country Market in Stanhope, New Jersey. He will be greatly missed.
Alfred is predeceased by his wife, Mary Esposito Colatarci; parents, Guistino Colatarci; Assunta Roberto Colatarci; siblings Mario; Florence Gorcica; Amelia Fusaro; Tobia and Justin.
Alfred is survived by many loving nieces and nephews who will miss his warm smile, witty sense of humor and memories he shared.
