Alfred Conrad Jenkins, Jr., 98 of Annapolis, formerly of Severn and Brooklyn, Maryland passed away on January 30, 2023. Alfred was born on June 10, 1924 in Baltimore to the late Alfred and Grace Jenkins. He served in the United States Army as a Staff Sergeant in Company C, 16th Infantry during World War II. His distinguished service consisted of receiving the Silver Star, Bronze Star, Purple Heart, Good Conduct Medal, American Defense Service and American Campaign Medals, European African Middle Eastern Campaign Medal, with 2 Bronze Service Stars, World War II Victory Medal, and a Combat Infantry Badge. Alfred was a mechanic and shop foreman at Leasing Incorporated, formerly The Jacobs Companies, Inc.
He is survived by his son, David Jenkins and his wife, Tammy Bowen; his daughter, Sherry Pollock and her husband, Jesse Pollock, Jr.; his stepson, Daniel Wilfong and his wife, Joyce Wilfong; his sister, Lea Patricia McIllwain; his granddaughter, Caitlin Marino and her husband, Anthony Marino; his step-grandsons, Kelly Wilfong, Michael Pollock, Jesse Pollock III; and step-granddaughters, Stacey Minear, Michelle Nawrocki and her husband, Thomas Nawrocki, Christy Willink and her husband, Brian Willink; and his great-granddaughters, Ava James Marino and Piper Quinn Marino. Alfred was preceded in death by his first wife, W. Janet Jenkins and his second wife, Gail Jenkins; and his step-daughter, Alana Minear; and step-grandson, Brandon Wilfong.
