Sunrise: Saturday, January 22, 1983 Sunset: Thursday, May 7, 2015 Alexander Yahya Abdullah II was the only child of Alexander Yahya Abdullah, Sr. and Betty J Henderson. He was a happy child and he never met a stranger. His biggest problem was his health. At the age of 7 he was diagnosed with bone cancer and had to have his right arm above the elbow amputated and do 42 weeks of Chemotherapy, but through it all he still managed a smile on his worst days. He married his sweetheart Precious Ann Abdullah on November 3, 2011 and Jamal Joseph, Jr. became his son. At the age of 30 he was diagnosed with colon and stomach cancer. At the age of 31 he was diagnosed with bladder cancer and at the age of 32 the colon cancer returned to his body. Through it all, Alexander held on to his faith and he prayed everyday. He leaves to mourn his passing, his wife Precious Abdullah, his son Jamal Joseph, Jr., his mother Betty Henderson, a host of in-laws, aunts, uncles, cousins and many left a lasting impression on everyone he met. His favorite scripture was Galatians 2:20 “I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and game himself for me.
