Alexander Wilson [Sandy] of London Ontario, Canada, passed away Monday morning, January 18, 2016, at Holmes Regional in Melbourne following a brief but courageous battle with Leukemia.
He is survived by his devoted daughters, Amanda Wilson Hillier and Rebecca Wilson; grandson Kaiden Hillier; sister, Caroline Wilson Grant; niece and nephew, Nina Grant Mullinax and Nick Grant; his four-legged, faithful companion, Teevo; and countless friends around the globe.
Sandy was born in Sterling, Scotland and moved to Antigua, West Indies with his family as a young boy. He attended Morrison’s Academy in Crief, Scotland and completed his education in London Ontario, Canada where he became a CPA. Upon his retirement, Sandy spent many winters in Merritt Island, Florida which became a second home to him. He loved to play golf, fish, and spend time with his many beloved friends enjoying the Florida lifestyle. Sandy never met a stranger and had a kind, generous spirit. He loved to laugh and had a quick wit. He was incredibly proud of his beautiful daughters and grandson.
