Alexander M. Wallach, 81 of Rockfall, passed away on Thursday, March 9, 2017 at Middlesex Hospital. A devoted and courageous husband, father, grandfather and brother he was born on June 13, 1935 in Manhattan. Alex was the son of the late Hyman and Ethel (Cohen) Wallach. Raised in the Bronx, NY, he attended local schools and Roosevelt High School. He graduated in 1960 with a BS degree from Pratt Institute, Brooklyn, NY. Alex served in the United States Army from 1954-1956 stationed in Japan as an Ammunition Supply Specialist. He is a member of the Middlefield VFW Post #10362.
