It is with great sorrow we announce that Alex Sinclair Dansby, Age 30, of Tollesboro, Ky., formerly of Radcliff, Ky., passed away Saturday December 1, 2018 at his home.

Alex was born in Heidelberg, Germany March 10, 1988 to Dennis T. and Donna M. (Jenkins) Dansby.

Alex was a graduate of North Hardin High School, in Radcliff, Ky, and went on to study music at the University of Louisville.

For those that knew Alex, he was an accomplished musician and composer, playing the guitar and piano.  In high school he played the tuba.  Alex and his band class mates were so gifted that they were invited to play at Carnegie Hall in midtown Manhattan in New York City.

Alex was very loving to his family and very giving to those in need.

Surviving Alex is his parents Dennis & Donna (Jenkins) Dansby of Tollesboro, Ky.  In addition to his parents, Alex is survived by his sisters Denise Dansby of Ft. Meade, Maryland and Leah Dansby of Titusville, Florida, and his brother Jonathan Dansby of Elizabethtown, Kentucky.  He is also survived by his Mamaw, Veronica Jenkins, of Maysville, Ky.  Also surviving are his Uncle Cecil Dansby of Radcliff, Ky., his Uncle Donnie and Aunt Rose Jenkins of Macy, IN, his Uncle Sam and Aunt Susie (Jenkins) Johnson of Vanceburg, Ky., his Uncle Aaron Jenkins of Shelbyville, IN, and his Aunt Vanessa (Jenkins) Walker of South Shore, KY.  He is also survived by many nieces, his nephew, numerous cousins, other relatives and friends who loved him very much and will mourn his passing.

He was preceded in death by his Papaw Donald Jenkins of South Shore, Ky, and his Aunt Mary Lou (Jenkins) Castle of South Shore, Kentucky.
