Alex M. Marshall, 95, of Centralia, passed away Friday, March 1, 2019 at Fireside House of Centralia. He was born August 22, 1923 in Beckemeyer, son of John Marshall and Josie (Montgomery) Marshall. He is survived by his companion, Barbara Kent of Centralia.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two wives, and a son: Alex “Butch” J. Marshall. Alex served in the U.S. Army during World War II. Alex was a retired Police Office in Beckemeyer and a retired Sheriff Deputy in Clinton County. He was a member of the American Legion Post 1227 in Beckemeyer, Centralia Elks Lodge 493, and Centralia Masonic Lodge 201.
Alex attended Trinity Lutheran Church in Centralia. Alex enjoyed dancing.
