Alex Chris Humphries was born March 5, 1965 in Idaho Falls, Idaho. He graduated from South Fremont High School in Saint Anthony, Idaho and married Sam McCormick on December 2, 1988. They lived in Rexburg, Idaho Falls, and for the last 13 years in Boise. They have two daughters, Stevie and Alexis; and Awzwald, the family dog.
Alex put anyone and everyone before himself no matter what he was doing or how he felt. He always made sure that everyone around him was happy; he was a generous and loving man who has touched many hearts and will never be forgotten.
He took great care of his wife and daughters. He was a dedicated father and husband, and often welcomed people into his home. Alex loved the outdoors. He spent many happy days camping with family and friends and was camping the day that he left us. He always made time to attend his daughters’ activities.
He was the manager of the Boise office for A-Core concrete cutting where he was a caring boss and well respected by his employees. Several of them were camping with him when he was taken from us.
Alex is survived by his wife and daughters of Boise; parents, Len and Fern Humphries of Rexburg; and siblings, Len Jr. (Johanna) and Gerald ( Gina) of Saint Anthony, Venae Hokanson (Brett) and Beth Baldwin (Kerry) of Rexburg, and Reneta Adamson of Shelley, ID.
Alex will be greatly missed.
