He is survived by his wife Alice; sisters, Virgie Nuanez, Emily Tafoya and Nellie Pena; children, Randy Padilla and Susan (Sergio) Ramos; ten grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his son Robert Padilla and siblings Juan Padilla, Benny Padilla and Mary Mora.
