Alex “A.J.” Jerrold McFadden, 49, of Morgantown, passed away Thursday, March 29, 2012 at Ruby Memorial Hospital, with family by his side. He was born December 17, 1962 in Clarksburg, the son of Judith Ann Rhoden McFadden of Lost Creek and Dorsey Jerrold McFadden of Clarksburg. In addition to his parents he is survived by his partner of eleven and half years Lonnie Joe Conrad of Morgantown. He is also survived by two brothers; James “Eric” McFadden of Lost Creek and Aaron Brian McFadden and fiancée Christie Morris of Lost Creek; three nephews; Chase E. McFadden, Chance W. McFadden and Landon J. McFadden; sister-in-law Annette C. Nichols of Lost Creek; Uncle Buzzy and Aunt Pam Rhoden of Buckhannon; cousin Bridgette Wilson and husband John of Elkins; maternal grandmother; Delsie Hester Hayhurst Rhoden of West Milford; and several Aunts, Uncles and Cousins on the McFadden side. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather James Andrew Rhoden in 1999. Alex graduated from South Harrison High School in 1981, he then went on to attend West Virginia University where he received his BA in Business Administration and Arts English. He continued his education at WVU receiving his Masters in Public Administration. He was employed for the last 25 years at WVU Hospitals where he held many positions; most recently he had risen to the Director of Revenue Cycle Operations.
