Aletha Pauline Neindorf Reynolds Jackson, Meridian, Idaho, passed away Thursday, February 4, 2016, of a brief illness. Aletha was born in Ashton, Idaho on November 12, 1925; the only child of Paul Bert Neindorf and Bernice Florence Gibson. She went to school in Lamont, ID, Hamilton, MT, Phoenix, AZ, and Idaho Falls, ID before returning to St. Anthony, Idaho where she graduated from So. Fremont High School in 1943.

She married Dallas E. Reynolds in 1944 who farmed at Wilford Idaho until 1952. She enjoyed camping, fishing and playing canasta, with family and friends. They moved to St. Anthony, Drummond, and finally to El Monte, California for Dallas to pursue a stucco and plastering career.  While there, Aletha worked in accounting at W.T. Grant, a variety department store and later for Bank of America.

Aletha is survived by her son, Dallas Gene (Vikki) Reynolds, Meridian, ID; step-daughters June Jackson and Peggy (Roger) Hammer, Brigham City, Utah; five beautiful grandchildren: Tauna (Ryan) Pacheco, Caldwell, ID; Ryan (Mary) Hammer, Arlington, TN; Dallas J. Reynolds, Boise, ID; Mandy (Marc) Blauer, Logan, UT; and  Utah Air National Guard Tech Sargent Brock (Rikell) Hammer, Ogden, UT (currently serving in Afghanistan). She has 10 great-grandchildren, and 5 great-great-grandchildren. Additionally, she is survived by former daughter-in-law, Terry Lynn Reynolds, Boise, ID; her son Justin (Jeannie) Haws and the wonderful 3 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild they provided her. Her sister-in-law, Mae Reynolds Niendorf, along with numerous cousins, nieces and nephews, mourn her passing. She was preceded in death by her parents and husbands.
