Aleigha Raylynn Bloss passed away in her parents’ loving arms at 3:17 p.m. Wednesday, November 27, 2013 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria. She was born in Peoria on September 4, 2013 to Levi and Melanie Zander Bloss of Rio.
She is survived by her parents, as well as a brother, Kade Bloss; paternal grandparents, John “Archie” and Debbie Bloss of Altona; maternal grandparents; Keely and Darrell Leafgreen of Rio and Kevin Zander of Keithsburg; great-grandparents, Linda Dysert of Alpha, John Zander of FL, Archie and Sharon Bloss of AZ, Rose Fay of Oneida, and Harvey and Barb Leafgreen of Rio; aunts, Amanda (Adam) Main of Altona, Cassie (Zack) Page of Altona, and Amanda Leafgreen; uncles, Andrew (Erin Prichard) Zander of Rio, Geoffrey (Tori Courson) Baughman of Williamsfield, Jacob (LeeAnna) Leafgreen of Rio and Cody Leafgreen of Rio; and cousins Austin Larson, Paxton Zander, Hunter Page, and Rowan Main; as well as many great aunts and uncles, and dear friends John Paul Johnson and Traci Guerrero.
She was preceded in death by great-grandparents Michael Dysert, Frances Zander, and Dean Fay, as well as her second cousin Kaelynn Fay, and a dear family friend, Bonnie Naslund. Aleigha was lovingly known by her nickname, “Bubbles.”
