Aldo Pizz Graglia, 84, a resident of the LaSalle Veterans Home, formerly of Oglesby, died Friday night, August 6, at St. Margarets Hospital in Spring Valley. Mr. Graglia was born on April 29, 1926 in Oglesby to Celso and Caroline (Coerini) Graglia. He was a 1944 graduate of LaSalle-Peru High School.

He was a Navy Veteran of WW II. He was employed at the Oglesby Post Office for more than 30 years until his retirement in 1985. He was a life-long member of Holy Family Church, the Oglesby American Legion, United Postal Workers, and the Illinois Bowling Association. He was a generous contributor to his church, and many other organizations.

He is survived by a niece and caregivers, Carol and Charles Swanson, of Oglesby, other nieces and nephews, Mary Kay (Michael) Connell, of Knoxville, Tenn., Carla Jean (Thomas) Bush, of Dacula, Georgia, Steven (Sara) Graglia, of Dacula, Georgia, and his sister-in-law, Bonnie Graglia, of Oglesby, and many great-nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, his twin brother, Carlo Ki Graglia, a sister, Ann Kodrich, and his long-time friend and companion, Alfonsa Tamborini.
