On May 22nd, Aldo A. Bucci passed from this mortal life to join his Lord, and his beloved wife,”Ky”, in eternal peace and love. Aldo was a life long resident of Burlington City. He was a member of the Class of 1939 at Burlington City High School, and then he served in the U.S. Navy during World War Two. After the war, he returned to Burlington and began dating Ky Gillece while she worked for Ted Claire’s pharmacy. Ky and Al married in September 1949 and had seven loving children. They purchased their first and only home on Barclay Street, where they remained for fifty years.

Aldo worked for the Wall Rope Company, in Beverly, for nineteen years, after which he worked for the United States Steel Company, in Trenton, for fourteen years until his retirement. Aldo loved golfing, weight lifting, the Jersey shore, BINGO, Atlantic City and the “I Love Lucy” show. But, most of all, Al loved his faith in the Catholic Church. He was the utmost example of faith, love, and compassion. His ability to love and accept all individuals was a testament to his Christian character. He was preceded in death by his parents, Tony and Laura Bucci, and his beloved wife of fifty-seven years, Catherine “Ky” Gillece Bucci.

He is survived by his children, Anthony (Jane), Tom (Patt), Bunky, John (Sue). Ann Marie (Dave) Hilgendorf, Teresa (Bernie) Mulholland, and Peg Bucci (Diane Lima) also, nineteen grandchildren and ten great grandchildren, as well as his two sisters, Fannie (Eddie) Paulson, of North Carolina, and Doris (Jim) Henry, of Tennessee, his brother in law, Robert Bociulis, and many nieces and nephews.
