Alcadia “Carmen” Jackson, 92, of Toms River, NJ, passed away peacefully Friday, November 30, 2018 at home surrounded by her beloved family. Born in Rio Grande, Puerto Rico, she lived in City Island, the Bronx, NY before moving to Toms River in 1991. Alcadia was a store keeper for the Salvation Army in the Bronx, NY. She was predeceased by her husband, William J. Jackson in 1980, her son Rocco Campanelli in 2006, her brothers Phillip and Ramon, and her younger sister Josefina “Fifa”.
Alcadia is survived by her five children and their spouses Linda and Manny Lozano of Wimauma, FL, Elizabeth and Alexander J. Prozzo of Jackson, NJ, Thomas and Paulette Jackson of Cooper City, FL, Patrick and Lola Jackson of Orange City, FL, Steven and Marilyn Jackson of Sullivan, NY, her sister Angela Rodriguez of Monterey, TN, ten grandchildren Michael, Kristine, Susan, Danielle, Vincent, Colleen, Patrick Jr., Ashley, Thomas Jr., Arcadia, and five great grandchildren Nicholas, Giulio, Melina, Anthony and Reya.
