Cuevas, Alberto “Berto” of Saginaw, Michigan
Beloved father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 28, 2017 at the Toni and Trish House, surrounded by his family. He was 58 years old. Alberto Cuevas was born on May 2, 1959 in San Antonio, Texas to the late Pete A. and Mary Helen (Martinez) Cuevas, Sr. Berto married Carmen Trevino; she survives him. Berto loved to ride his bicycle, go to Bingo and sip on Coke Zero. Above all, he loved and cherished his family. He will forever be remembered for his generosity and his wonderful sense of humor.
Surviving are his wife, Carmen Cuevas of Saginaw; two daughters: Catherine Trevino of San Antonio, TX and Manuela Trevino of San Antonio, TX; one sister and two brothers: Susan (Antonio) Ledesma, Andrew P. Stowell and Rudy (Sandra) Lopez; sister-in-law, Mary J. Cuevas of Saginaw; five nieces: Melissa Cuevas, Lupe Vaughn, Rossa Vaughn, Juanita Vaughn and Michelle Vaughn. Also surviving are many grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Pete Adams Cuevas, Jr; two sisters: Maria Cuevas and Catherine Cuevas.
