She was united in marriage to Peter Bob VanHout on December 30, 1948 who preceded her in death in 1995.Alberta is survived by her children, Kathy Jim Boldenow of Kentwood, Jan Bruce Haak, Jean Tom VanderMeulen and Karen Don DeVries all of Kalamazoo, John VanHout of LosAngeles and Kaylynn Gary Terpstra of Lawton; 16 grandchildren; and 15 great grandchildren.
