Albert Yambor, 91 of Parma Ohio, was called to rest on Friday, April 21, 2023. He leaves behind the love of his life, Julia, of 69 years, their 5 children, and their spouses Mary Jane Horton (Dan), Albert(Mindy), Margie Durkin (Ron), Mike (Marie) and Julie Regula (Joe). He was blessed with 11 grandchildren Melissa Durkin, Mike Durkin (Jess), Ben Horton, Julie Pukish (Pete), Albert Yambor(Kara), Shawn Yambor(Amanda), Joe Regula (Callie), Michael Yambor (Rachael), Jessica Brownlee (Dave), David Yambor ( Stephanie) and Nicole Nordbusch (Kirk). As well as 12 great-grandchildren Emily, Ryan, Tyler, Winstyn, Albert, Jordan, Ava, Anderson, Amelia, Finnegan, Ella and one on the way. Albert was born to John and Margaret Yambor on September 30, 1931 In Helvetia, Pa. He was the second youngest of 9 children, all deceased except for his dear sister-in-law Helen Yambor. He was a dear brother-in-law of Joe Phillips (Veronica) and Gene Shaffer (Helen, deceased). Uncle and friend to many. His relationship with Julia, his wife, was the making of a love story. She was his “Juliet” and he her “Romeo.” He served his country as a Sargeant in the US Army 17th Infantry during the Korean War. He was a member of Local 55, Plumbers Union for over 70 years and a man of faith dedicated to his church by serving as an usher at St. Anthony of Padua’s Catholic Church for over 50 years. He was a good neighbor to many through the years and has been blessed with good neighbors in return. His stories, wisdom, kindness, and smile will be missed by all who knew him.
