Albert Wesley Stork, 81 of the Silver Ridge Park Westerly section of Berkeley Township died on Wednesday, May 6, 2015, at Tallwoods Care Center in Bayville, NJ. Born in Paterson, NJ he lived in the Toms River area and in Stuart, Florida before moving to Silver Ridge Westerly 15 years ago.

Albert owned and operated Bird Construction in Bayville, NJ. He was a US Navy veteran serving during the Korean War. He was a Pitcher for the New York Yankees in their farm league and was featured on the cover of Sports Illustrated. Albert was an avid golfer and loved boating and traveling and was a history buff and loved World War II history.

Predeceased by his first wife Beatrice and his stepson Patrick.

He is survived by his loving wife Diana nee Dudley. Two sons Albert and Thomas. Two daughters Beatrice Scafidi and Allison Cavanaugh. Three step-daughters Courtney and Stephanie Brennan and Katie Colaio. 8 Grandchildren Jenny, Troy, Jackie, Jordan, Albert, Austin, Nick, and Chaz. 5 Step Grandchildren Stephen, Katlyn, Daniel, Andrew, and Brianna. 2 Great Grandchildren Drew and Collin and a Step Great Grandchild Autumn.
