Albert Wehrhahn, 89, of Bethlehem, passed away peacefully on Friday, March 6, 2015, at St. Lukes Hospice House. He was the husband of the late Jacqueline (Allen) Wehrhahn, with whom he shared over 59 years of loving marriage before her death in 2011. Born in Delco, NC, Albert was the son of the late Albert and Irene (Long) Wehrhahn, Sr. He graduated from the University of North Carolina, and served his country in the US Air Force. He worked for DuPont Chemical for 36 years as a financial and HR manager. Albert, a self-taught musician, played semi-pro baseball, was an accomplished softballer and bowler, served as a Boy Scout leader, and was active at Grace Episcopal Church in Delaware. He was a great family man, and loved family camping trips. When he and Jackie moved to Kirkland Village, Al became engaged in many activities, particularly bean bags and billiards. Survivors: Albert is survived by his daughter, Karen W. Nicholson and her husband Bruce of Schnecksville, his son, Allen L. Wehrhahn and his wife Maureen of Long Valley, NJ, 6 grandchildren, and his sister Mary Carroll of Riegelwood, NC. Albert was predeceased by 3 siblings, William, Margaret and Thomas.
